Default 2.8 No Spark

OK, long story. I was setting the timing on my 1991 S10 w/2.8 litre TBI. I had the coil-dist wire off so my wrench would clear. I forgot I had it off and tried to turn over truck only to realize my wrench was shorting the coil. Put wire back onto dist there was a 'pop' down low and when cranked no fire. Tested and still have spark at coil. Figured I blew ECM in distirbutor. Since dist was in warranty got a new one. No go. Replaced coil. No go. Checked all fuses. No go

Any ideas what I blew?

Yeah, that is why I thought the ECM in the Dist was fried...
But the new dist does the same thing.
I suppose I could have got a bad new dist..

could be as stupid as spark plug wire going to the dist from teh coil, u say u have spark leaving the coil, well... then teh prob is some where between the coil and the distributor. pop a new plug wire on and see what hapens,

OK, all you younger guys ignore what I say.
I swear I checked the fuses but on a double-check found one of the ECM fuses blown.
Damn these old (50) eyes of mine. (my apologies to Marty Feldman)

Oh well the Dist was still in warranty and the coil was only $20.00 and it probably needed to be replaced anyways.

Thanks for the help!
