Default changing rear wheel bearing

my rear wheel bearing is making some noise and im gonna change it out... a few questions i have is i have a 7.5" rear do i have a C-clip axles and i can't seem to find the right bearing for it. all i find is for the 8.5" axle, are the bearings the same?

Most likely a 1559 or a 1663 bearing depens on the rear axle. easy enough to look up at rockauto.com

i was told by my auto parts store that i need a 5707 but its for a standard cab not ex. but that wouldnt matter would it

Here are pics of the 1559 and 5707, 1663 is of the same design. Any auto parts store should have them. The 1559 is a wider "TV" Bearing AKA a repair bearing for a worn axle.

ok it looks more like the 5707 one but i pulled the bearing and it says torrington DB-59722

Here are the dimensions of the 5707. Just give the parts store your # and they can cross reference it. Although you probably have that done by now. Good Luck and might as well change both sides and the seals while its apart, or atleast both seals.

TIMKEN Part # 5707 1.4016 in. Bore; 0.698 in. Width

Default Rear wheel bearing

Sorry ...Been busy BUILDING rear diffs...lol Really.

5707 is the correct bearing The seal will be 8660s that will do it.

the 1559 are for full size trucks 8.5 1/2 ton.

Take care and hope it was not info that was too late.
